All of our gigs were in Greenwich Village in NYC.We used to play at Folk City, The Speakeasy, and a place that LATCH use to have. Latch was also a songwriter back in the early eighties.Had a Hit I think.
I would take a train from ASBURY PARK up to Grand Central, and then take the A train up to Spanish Harlem where Billy was living at the time. Billy was from the Quadcities, IL, and i met him from Tommy Stockton. He showed up at my house at 375 Kerby Ave. Elberon, where World Symphony (AKA:Bless) was rehersing. He rang the doorbell one night.as i answered the door he said, "Tommy Stockton sent me here to take you to Moline IL for  a week or so."
I said Cool but you gotta sit here and listen to us jam out for a couple of hours.
the rest is rock and roll history. he came back to the city and we started to play with the Axeman and gigging at various clubs around Washington Square WITH the Washington Squares.
we played with SUZANEE VEGA(LUKA)at Folk City, headlined quite a few nights at THE SPEAKEASY on Bleeker St and did a shitload of gigs
around the village.
